Google might get government approval for testing Project Loon in India

"If the reports must be believed, the project will see the first test pilot in India in the future"

One of the projects are set to Google during the current Project Loon - a plan to export gas balloon filled up in the air to provide access to the Internet in rural and remote areas. If the report must be believed, the project will see the first test pilot in India in the future.

According to The Times of Economy, the Ministry of Communications and IT talks and the giant Mountain View-based employees to conduct the pilot Project Loon India, for four days. The tests will probably take place in Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. The idea, according to a government official, it's tested in many clinical models of Internet in the country.
