HTC One M9 Prime Camera Edition reportedly launched in India for Rs 23,990
HTC recently also launched the 10 (first impressions), One X9 Dual SIM (first impressions), Desire 628 and Desire 825 in India for Rs 52,990, Rs 25,990, Rs 13,990 and Rs 18,990 respectively. In addition, the brand has also announced that the Desire 630 and Desire 830 will go on sale in the country soon.
The HTC One M9 Prime Camera Edition is a variant of the last year’s One M9s. The phone offers a brushed metal unibody design and dual front-firing BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio. It sports a 5-inch full HD display with a layer of Corning’s Gorilla Glass to keep scratches at bay. The device is fuelled by a 2GHz octa-core 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM. It offers 16GB of internal memory, further expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.
The One M9 Prime Camera Edition runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top. It sports a 13MP primary snapper with a dual-LED flash, OIS, f/2.0 aperture and 4K video recording. For selfies, it gets a 4-UltraPixel secondary snapper with full HD video recording and f/2.0 aperture. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, a single-SIM slot, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, and GPS with GLONASS. A 2,840mAh battery completes the list of the specs.

HTC has reportedly launched the One M9 Prime Camera Edition smartphone in India. According to the Mumbai-based independent mobile retailer Mahesh Telecom, the phone has been priced at Rs 23,990, and will go on sale via brick-and-mortar retail stores across the country in the coming days. The retailer is referring the handset as the One M9+ Prime Camera Edition, but it was unveiled in Europe as the One M9 Prime Camera Edition earlier this month. The device is also available on eBay India for Rs 23,999. HTC is yet to officially announce the phone’s launch or list the device on its website in the country.
