LG brings G Pad III 8.0 to South Korea

LG today launched its new flagship smartphone dubbed the G5 (first signal) in India for Rs 52,990. Currently, the brand has expanded its range of Android tablets with the launch of the LG G Pad III 8.0 in Korea and Canada. The slate runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and comes pre-loaded with apps like Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. It also offers a Reader Mode, which reduces the amount of blue light emitted from the reduced strain on the eyes when reading for a long time.
As for the specs, the LG G Pad III 8.0 sports an 8-inch IPS display which yields a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. The slate is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core processor, aided by 2GB of RAM. If you are 16GB and 32GB of internal memory variants, with support for microSD cards up to 64GB in size. The slate offers an 8MP primary snapper, a 5MP front shooter, optional 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and a normal-size USB type A port that lets you connect flash drives directly to you. The tablet is fueled by a 4,800mAh battery.
