SsangYong debuts Tivoli XLV in the UK
SsangYong has launched the Tivoli XLV, a longer version of the normal Tivoli, in the international market.

When XLV shares the same platform as the Tivoli includes identical 2600mm wheelbase, it features a lengthened from behind the C-pillar. There is an overall increase of 238mm and this translates into a boot space of 720 liters. SsangYong recent claims that no specific proprietary design lines of the Tivoli.

"Following the rapid growth in the compact SUV market, SsangYong responded in 2015 by launching Tivoli, its first small SUV, and already the company's most successful new car. Some 64,000 cars were manufactured and sold around the world last year, "said Paul Williams, CEO of SsangYong Motor UK.

Mahindra showcased the Tivoli earlier this year at the Auto Expo and is expected to launch here in the last quarter of 2016. In light of Tivoli XLV now hitting the international arena, Mahindra in all likeliness, you can probably bring XLV in India considering the dynamics of our market.

Mahindra is expected to equip the Tivoli with the 1.6-liter petrol and diesel Falcon engines. While oil makes 125bhp and 157Nm of torque, the diesel makes do with 113bhp and 300Nm of torque. Both engines will power to the wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. It remains to be seen if Mahindra will offer an all-wheel-drive variant, and the option of an automatic transmission.
